American Snuff Co.

The legacy of the Grizzly family of products can be traced back to 1782 and a snuff mill in Delaware. They’ve been making some of the best American chewing tobacco ever since. We started working with them in 2007 and have had our hands in everything from their brand platform to their web and interactive promotions. By the end of 2008, sales had gone from sixth in their category to first.

By 2010, market changes and technological advances motivated plans for a new website. The current site used Flash and, while beautiful and functional, it was getting passed over by the blooming iPhone and iPad markets where Flash is useless.

We set out to create an updated look for them using future-proof technologies that could work on more devices.
